Our Tourism Schools Bad Gleichenberg are among the world’s best and offer excellent qualifications to start an outstanding career. We have been internationally known since 1946 as the private education institution for tourism in Austria.
Touristic, economic, digital subjects, sustainability, innovation management, entrepreneurship, future topics and social skills as well as communication and languages are at the centre of attention. Besides our hotel Management and Advanced Secondary School for tourism, we also offer a College for tourism and leisure Industry as well as a Master University Course for tourism Management.

What about entry requirements at Tourismusschulen Bad Gleichenberg?
There are two requirements you need in order to start attending our tourism schools, first you need to register, then there will be an interview. For your registration we need the following documents:
- 2 passport photos
- Registration form
- Copy of proof of citizenship and birth certificate
- Advanced Secondary School for Tourism and Hotel Management School: Copy of annual report of the 8th grade or semester certificate
- College: Copy of school-leaving certificate or proof of university entrance qualification

Tell me more about your education programs. I’ve heard good things about your Hotel Management School.
Well, first of all, our hotel management school lasts 3 years. In the cooking and service classes you will acquire the necessary skills for your future profession. In our theory classes, we are dealing with essential topics for your professional future life – tourism, languages and commercial subjects. After 3 years you will conclude your vocational training and furthermore, you are awarded with a license as entrepreneur allowing you to open your own business. We’ve put an emphasis on taste & lifestyle trends with regional potential, practical focus on regional taste, food crafting, creative cooking. Excursions and workshops in co-operation with our regional partners are an integral part of our curriculum.

The special thing about us is that our pupils and students live and learn together. The concept with the motto “learning by living” offers the possibility to develop socially and personally within their professional as well as private surroundings for all individuals.
