How would you describe New York Film Academy?

New York Film Academy is honored to be the college of choice for many Hollywood filmmakers’ families, including Steven Spielberg, Martin Scorsese, Al Pacino, Robert Downey Jr., Jamie Foxx, and Jodie Foster.

Students from over 120 countries take NYFA’s accelerated degree, conservatory, or workshop programs, at campuses in New York City, Los Angeles, and South Beach, Miami; Gold Coast, Australia; and a year-round location in Florence, Italy. Summer workshops are offered worldwide.

Why do you think students should go for New York Film Academy?

The NYFA Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree is designed for undergraduate students who wish to integrate intensive professional training with a comprehensive liberal arts education. The Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees in Filmmaking, Acting, Screenwriting, Producing, Photography, Animation, Game Design, and Graphic Design are a rigorous mixture of hands-on experiential work, employing state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, and a rich academic curriculum. NYFA graduates are fully prepared for their chosen career path and find their unique education to be a bona fide stepping stone to real world engagement in the performing and entertainment arts and allied professions.
NYFA offers BFA programs in three locations: New York City, Los Angeles, and South Beach.
Located next to Warner Bros. Studios, our Los Angeles campus is literally at the center of the American entertainment industry. Beyond the opportunity to interact in their classroom and studio training with mentors who are working professionals and educators, NYFA students are exposed to a cultural environment that far exceeds those offered in the art programs at most liberal arts colleges and universities.

The Academy makes the accelerated two-year schedule possible by creating an extended academic year allowing students to complete three full-length semesters in each calendar year.
New York Film Academy MFA degree programs are offered only at our Los Angeles and South Beach, Miami Campus.

What are the jobs perspective after studies?

While NYFA cannot guarantee a job, as no one in the entertainment industry can, students are taught by current industry professionals, are able to network with these professionals, produce more work than any other school to add to their reel and are given business classes as well. 80% of our students have reported back that they are working in the industry.

Students are given the opportunity to apply for OPT after studying a course of 1 year or longer.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row]
